L O S T, A literate roleplay.

Thinking about starting a roleplay, but don't have the idea completely finished? Post it here, not in the main OOC forum!
 Okay, so I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a roleplay based off of Fox's hit television show, L O S T. I would absolutely love to create and participate in a roleplay based off the show, but before I put a fair amount of effort into creating one, I would like to know that there are people who are just as interested in the idea as I am and they would join us as well.
Now, I'm not creating this thread for you all to simply post things like..
  • "Oh, I'd totally join!"
  • "That sounds like it'd be fun! Count me in!"
  • "I was just thinking the same thing! I would love to join!"
  • etc.
Though, if that's all you've got to say, I can't really stop you. But seeing as I'm completely Lost on what the plot should be, I wouldn't mind discussing it a bit with you all and deciding on what exactly the roleplay should be all about (aside from the obvious). Anyways, I'm going to go ahead and lay out my ideas that I've got so far.

Plot
  • Pre-Flight 815. Another plane crash that took place before Flight 815.
  • Post-Flight 815. No idea how we'd do it, but it's an option.
  • Flight 815 itself.
    • With characters from the actual television show.
    • Completely original characters in place of the ones from
      the actual show.
  • I definitely want The Others to have a significant part in the roleplay,
    or have their own storyline going on at the same time as the survivors.
Preferences
  • Personally, I think the Tab System would work best,
    seeing as I'd like there to be several different
    locations where IC posting will be.
  • No matter the plot direction, I think it would be great to have several
    different IC threads for different locations on the island. Such as:
    • Survivor's Camp.
    • Others Village.
    • Hydra Island.
    • Jungle.
    • Etc.
  • I would like it to be a literate and long-term roleplay with a fair amount
    of characters of all ages.


It may not be much right now, but it's a start! I would love to see this blossom into an active, well organized and entertaining roleplay! I'd like to discuss plot possibles and anything else you can think of here, but you can also feel free to message me on AIM ( jibberishes ) if you want to talk about the roleplay with a bit of a quicker pace.
