Dear Sir/Madam,
?
One of my client is engaged in purchase of weighing scales and selling to shops.
Will he be governed by the erstwhile sec.44af (i.e as merged with Sec.44AD)?
Is there any list of elgible retail business to be govered by 44AD?
?

Section 44AD covers all kind of business except
he business of plying, hiring or leasing goods carriages referred to in section 44AE; and
whose total turnover or gross receipts in the previous year does not exceed an amount of sixty lakh rupees.
